I just wanted to thank everyone for reading all of the Halloween features, and to let you know that I'm taking a break from posting this week, because our Halloween plans involve flying 2,000 miles and being in a wedding the day after Halloween. :)
Expect regular posts to resume sometime in early November. If you've been thinking about sending in a request to be featured, now is the time to do it! After all, it's getting to be time to think about Christmas shopping...

Since most office jobs typically frown upon doing crazy and bizarre things to your hair, even if it is just for Halloween, I've always liked the idea of hair falls to dress up your hair. Here's a variety of just the fun green hair falls I found on Etsy--there are plenty more in other colors as well, from these shops and more! :)
Green and black falls, made from tubular crin, from Exoskeleton Cabaret.
Green and black falls, made from synthetic hair, hand-painted fabric, and more, from Sisters of the Moon Design.
Green and purple falls, made from yarn, netting, ribbon, and more, from MTCoffinz Underground.

So my Halloween costume this year is inspired by a purchase from Brown Button, who made a custom vest and pair of bloomers for me a few months ago. I think I may have mentioned her a few times on this blog. :) But I'm going to be a pirate, in case that wasn't clear.
Now since I'm going to be staying with friends on Halloween, I don't want too much of an elaborate costume. But if money and suitcases were no object, I would totally be selecting a pirate hat from one of the options here!
Simple elegance in this gray and black tricorn! From Cynthia's Boutique.
Nothing says pirate like wearing a ship on your hat! From Topsy Turvy Design.
Noxenlux Chapeaux makes some amazing hats, and this little tricorn is no exception!
Though this isn't a traditional pirate hat, no post about fancy hats on Etsy is complete without a nod to Boring Sidney. Anyway, it's got an eyepatch! :)
